MDH Welcomes Two Nurse Practitioners

MACOMB, Ill. – McDonough District Hospital announced the addition of two nurse practitioners to the Medical Group and Convenience Clinic in Macomb.

Annette Holt, FNP-C joins MDH after working the past five years in Missouri. Most recently she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at JCMG Express Care in Jefferson City and at the Walk-In/Urgent Care center at SSM Health-Audrain, Noble Health and Platinum Health in Mexico, Missouri.

Since March 2020, Holt has also worked with the State of Missouri Disaster Medical Team. She participated in staffing of medical facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic and leads teams in multiple areas of disaster response (including infusion clinics) across the state. Holt also provides medical care at large community events such as concerts and State Fair.

Prior to earning her Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Holt worked 30 years as a Registered Nurse in various areas of care.

Simi Dhillon, DNP, FNP-C joins MDH from the St. Louis area CVS Health clinics working as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also spent nearly two years working as a travel Nurse Practitioner with Milan Laser Hair Removal at locations throughout the United States.

Dhillon worked as a Clinical Nursing Instructor at St. Louis Community College during the Spring 2021 semester. She worked four years at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Missouri as a Registered Nurse providing primary care for adult bariatric patients. She worked at Imran Pharmacy in St. Louis as a Pharmacy Technician prior to becoming a nurse.

Dhillon graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology then later nursing. She earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from SIU-Edwardsville in 2020.

The MDH Convenience Clinic inside Health Services Building 2 in Macomb is open seven days a week for walk-in appointments only: Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (closed from 1-2 p.m. for lunch) and weekends from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
