Bailey Bucher, NP-C Joins Bushnell Family Practice

MACOMB, Ill. – McDonough District Hospital welcomes Bailey Bucher, NP-C to the Bushnell Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner. She started at MDH on April 26 and will work full-time in Bushnell.
Bucher worked the last 11 years at OSF, the last two at OSF Galesburg Clinic Pediatrics and nine years prior as a Registered Nurse in the OSF Prompt Care Centers.
During her tenure at the Galesburg Clinic she provided pediatric primary healthcare services including: well child care, management of acute illnesses and chronic conditions to children, and general health promotion / disease prevention.
From 2007-10, Bucher worked as a Registered Nurse at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria, first in the Emergency Department then in Pediatrics.
A graduate of Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing with a Master of Science degree, Bucher has earned two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Nursing from Methodist College and another in Individual Studies – Child Development from Western Illinois University.

Her knowledge and expertise as a provider will support Dr. John Arnold and the staff at the Bushnell Family Practice,” said Peter Rao, Vice President of the MDH Medical Group. “The Bushnell Family Practice provides much needed primary care services to Bushnell and the surrounding area. Bailey is trained in treating kids and adults, and having her on staff will improve access to patient care.”
