MACOMB, Ill. – McDonough District Hospital announces the addition of Brittney Taylor, FNP-C to the medical staff. She joins the MDH Family Clinic on January 3 and is accepting new patients ages 5 and older.

Taylor is no stranger to the area as MDH’s newest nurse practitioner worked in the Rushville Family Practice at Culbertson Memorial Hospital since 2014. She has background experience in Hospice (Cass County Health Department), Allergy and Respiratory (Central Illinois Allergy and Respiratory Clinic) and Pulmonology (St. John’s Hospital).

Taylor earned Nursing degrees from the Methodist School of Nursing and Chamberlain College of Nursing (Bachelor’s degree) before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University.

“We are excited to add Brittney Taylor to our primary care family at McDonough District Hospital,” said MDH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Edwin Card. “She is well known in the Rushville area and has an excellent reputation for quality and a personal approach to providing health care.”
