MDH Announces Dates for 15th Annual Festival of Trees

MACOMB, Ill. – The McDonough District Hospital Foundation will once again kick off the Holiday season by hosting the 15th Annual Festival of Trees. The Festival is a fundraising event to benefit MDH. The funds raised this year are being directed toward MDH frontline caregivers and Mental Health services.

The festivities will begin Monday, November 29, with the Teddy Bear Social “Ladies Night Out” at The Forum. Admission is $20 and a new teddy bear. The bears will be given to pediatric patients at MDH and there will be a silent auction of themed baskets.

The Macomb Arts Center will be transformed into a Holiday wonderland featuring a beautiful display of Holiday trees. Jingle & Mingle will be held Thursday evening, December 2. This ticketed event is black tie optional and $40 per person. Attendees can meander through the many exquisite trees as they enjoy hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. There will be a silent auction with online bidding starting November 29 and ending at noon on Thursday, December 2. The auction items will then be on display and bidding will conclude at the event.

The Festival of Trees will be open to the community with a $3 admission fee at the times and dates listed below (children 10 and under are free):

  • Saturday, December 4: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
