The Pella Rolscreen Foundation pledged $50,000 and presented their first installment of $16,667.00 toward the Dolores Kator Switzer Women’s Center (DKSWC) at McDonough District Hospital. With this generous commitment, the Ultrasound Room in the Women’s Imaging Center will be named after Pella and they will be recognized as “Partners” in the MDH Business Honor Roll giving club.
“Pella has a philanthropic attitude and they understand the importance of excellent healthcare in our community,” said MDH President/CEO, Kenny Boyd. “It is exciting to see plans for the Women’s Center coming to fruition as it will provide a new nursery, modernized private OB/GYN suites, state-of-the-art labor/deliver/recovery rooms, and an imaging center for the women in our community. Pella’s generous pledge brings us to nearly $3.2 of our $5.5M goal.”
