Macomb, IL – Crystal Dobbs, RN, was named the Obstetrics (OB) Services Leader at MDH effective March 18, 2013, according to Vice President for Nursing Operations Wanda Foster.
Dobbs has seven years of experience in the obstetrics department at MDH and holds credentials as a neonatal resuscitation instructor and a certified lactation consultant. She was instrumental in assisting with preparation for MDH level II nursery re-designation and has served as one of the OB department interim clinical coordinators during the past year. She is an OB Service Excellence Advisor for the hospital’s customer service program. She was named the recipient of the MDH Apple Award (employee of the month) in November, 2009.
Dobbs earned her Associates Degree in Nursing, RN, from Spoon River College and will start her bachelor’s in nursing at Western Illinois University.
A native of Macomb, she and her husband Jerad, have two children – Makalie and Chase.
