Bushnell Practice of Dr. John Arnold Joins MDH

Macomb, IL -- Effective February 1, 2013 Dr. John Arnold, MD and his support staff joined the McDonough Medical Group at McDonough District Hospital. Arnold and his staff will continue to provide services at their 155 W. Hail Street location.

“MDH recognizes primary care support in Bushnell is essential for the community and the hospital is pleased that Dr. Arnold is a part of the hospital’s physician group,” said MDH President/CEO Kenny Boyd.

Last June the hospital and Dr. Arnold entered into an agreement which provided hospital employed nurse practitioner Trudy Buster, APN, NP-C, to serve as a nurse practitioner at Bushnell Family Practice on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Arnold has been practicing in Bushnell since 1982. He completed Medical School at Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, Chicago and finished his residency at Mercy-St. Luke's Family Practice, Davenport, Iowa. He is Board certified in Family Practice, and is a member of the American Medical Association and the AAFP.
