MDH Offers Community First Aid Class in September
The First Aid course covers injury assessment, various medical situations, and safety and injury prevention. Learn up-to-date first aid knowledge that will help individuals respond appropriately and confidently to an emergency situation that could save a life.
Community First Aid classes are offered at MDH two times per year and follow the American Heart Association guidelines with a focus on remaining calm, performing proper first aid techniques, and obtaining medical assistance. The next First Aid classes will be held February 4, 2020.
Pre-registration and a $50 fee is required. A minimum of six participants are necessary for each class to be held. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone having special needs should give advance notice when pre-registering for the course.
