MDH Physician Dr. Scott Urch Receives Healing Hand Award
MACOMB, Ill. - McDonough District Hospital congratulates Scott E. Urch, MD, for receiving a Healing Hand Award, an honor within the Grateful Patient Program at MDH.
Dr. Urch was recognized for his care while guiding patient Kathy Veroni through two total knee replacements.
As Veroni said in her own words, “Dr. Urch is a caring, gifted surgeon who enabled me to keep an active lifestyle. He explained everything thoroughly and our post-surgery appointments put my mind at rest that I would heal.”
The Grateful Patient Program started at MDH in 2017 and provides an opportunity for patients and/or families to show their gratitude and appreciation in honor of the excellent care received.
This donation will be used to benefit the Dolores Kator Switzer Women’s Center at MDH.
