The
Larry T. Westervelt Hospitality Home
The
Larry T. Westervelt Home, located on the south side of the
Health Services Building's parking lot, is a new addition
to the hospital campus. The Westervelt Home, made possible
by a bequest from Larry Westervelt, is a comfortable and convenient
place for relatives of patients at McDonough District Hospital
to stay.
A
very nominal fee is requested for each overnight stay, however,
no one in need is turned away. Volunteers are on hand at the
house to assist families and to give tours of the house to
anyone interested.
