CST: Peace of Mind at the Push of a Button
If you or someone you love is concerned about personal safety or security, help may be closer than you think. McDonough District Hospital has contracted with Critical Signal Technologies (CST), to provide an emergency home response system to subscribers in the service area. This service, formerly provided by LifeLine, offers advanced in-home alert and monitoring systems that make it safe and easy for seniors and those with unique physical challenges to remain independent.
Subscribers pay a monthly fee for connection to CST’s 24-hour care center, a monitoring facility staffed by highly trained professionals. Staff members from McDonough District Hospital Day Health Services are a regional CST provider for Illinois. The Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is easy to install and maintenance free. In case of an emergency, subscribers simply push the personal help button worn around their neck or wrist and a CST Care Center representative will quickly notify the appropriate responders.
