Aiding in independent living for seniors
If your spouse, parent, or grandparent needs more services than you can provide while you are at home or work, you should consider the MDH Day Health Services Program. Day Health provides daytime recreational and health-related care for senior citizens age 60 or over in a homelike setting. Cost of care is based on the Senior Citizen's finances.
Day Health also provides:
- group and independent structured activities
- community outings
- medical supervision
- social services
- healthy snacks and a hot, nutritionally balanced noon meal
- seasonal trips
With group and individual programming administered by a team of caring professionals.
Have the time to renew their energy and meet their own needs.
Relieves the stress associated with being solely responsible for the care of an elderly family member.
With short term or long term options available.
Who will care for me or my loved one?
Our staff is made up of caring professionals and volunteers. Members of the team include:
- Program Director
- Registered Nurse
- Licensed Practical Nurses
- Certified Nursing Assistants
- Other healthcare professionals
