MDH Hospitality Home

The  Larry T. Westervelt Home is located on the south side of the MDH campus, just a short distance from the hospital main building. The Westervelt Home, made possible by a bequest from Larry Westervelt, offers convenient, short-term accomodations in a relaxed setting for patients' families.

There are four bedrooms, including a handicapped accessible room, each with its own private bath. The home features a great room and kitchen facilities with a washer and dryer.

Guests are encouraged to feel at home. A nominal fee is requested for each overnight stay, however, we welcome all individuals in need, regardless of ability to pay.

It is recommended that guests be at least 8 years of age, and all children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the hospital campus. For the courtesy and safety of all guests, no pets are allowed in the Westervelt Home.
