MDH TO OFFER SIBLING CLASS

McDonough District Hospital’s Obstetrics Department will offer a Sibling Class, Saturday, February 13, from 10:00-11:00AM, located in the Auxiliary Workroom, located on the lower level of the hospital.

This class is designed to help the “big brother” or “big sister” understand what it will be like to have a new baby in the family. Interactive play and videos will be used to help little people see how important they still are in the family, even though they are now the “big kids.” Children will have an opportunity to color a picture that will be placed on the crib of “their baby” after he or she arrives.
