MDH BOARD ELECTS OFFICERS

Don Dexter, M.D. of Macomb was re-elected president of the McDonough District Hospital Board of Directors at the Board’s January meeting. Dexter was first elected president in 2006 and has been a member of the Board since 1995.

Also re-elected as officers, Crystal Bedwell of Bushnell, vice president and Doug March of Macomb, secretary/treasurer. Terms for officers are for 2010. Bedwell has been a member of the Board since 2003 and March was first appointed in 1997.

Kenneth T. Wright, DVM of Blandinsville was seated as a new member of the Board. He and current members Kent Slater and Jerome Anderson, D.O., both of Macomb were recently appointed to three-year terms. Other members of the Board include Macomb residents Al Reusch, 2006-present; Barbara Ribbens, 2003-present; and Jack Baily, 1999-present.

The Board is responsible for the oversight of McDonough District Hospital. Board members are appointed by the McDonough County Board.
