During the various training sessions, members of the MDH Hospice team will provide relevant information for volunteers who meet the special needs of terminally ill patients. 

Volunteer orientation is mandatory for anyone interested in becoming a hospice volunteer. However, upon completion of the training, participants are not obligated to volunteer.
