Accidents, injuries and health emergencies can occur despite our best plans.  Up-to-date knowledge can help you respond appropriately and confidently to an emergency situation and could save a life.  The classes offered at MDH are taught according to the National Safety Council guildeines and focus on remainign calm. performing proper technique and obtaining medicaiton assistance.

Class covers injury assessment, first aid techniques various medical situations and safety and injury prevention.  First Aid course completion cards are valid for 3 years.
