Conditions Treated
We treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. Some of the most common are orthopedic surgeries, total joint replacements, balance disorders, problems with ambulation (walking), back and neck pain, and shoulder pain.

Elements of Treatment

  • Evaluation: One of our caring, experienced therapists will determine the appropriate course of treatment for you and your condition.
  • Manual Therapy/Exercises: Hands-on treatment and instruction in the clinic and for home.
  • Modalities: These treatments are used to decrease pain and promote healing.   They   include   paraffin,  fluidotherapy,  ultrasound, iontophoresis, electrical stimulation, heat, ice, and Anodyne therapy.
  • Ongoing Support: Our graduates have the option to continue using our facility for a nominal fee.

Goal
Whatever the course of treatment, our main goal at MDH Physical Therapy is helping you resume your normal activities. For example, if you have a knee injury and want to get back to playing sports, we will work on activities specific to your sport. Or, if you have a knee replacement and want to return to walking in the community, we will work on exercises to improve your strength and endurance so you can walk safely.
