Our Home Health Care Team Provides Skilled Nursing and Support Services
The MDH Home Health nurses provide individualized care based on your needs. The nurses provide the care prescribed by your doctor including:
Assessing your current state of health and communicating with your doctor
Performing specialized treatments, such as:

Providing wound care for unhealed surgical wounds or non-healing wounds

Care of indwelling catheter

Home infusion services for long-term antibiotics, pain management, or nutrition

Medication administration, including injections
-
Management of special medical equipment including wound care devices, alternate feeding equipment, and IV medicine pumps
Individualized education for your medical needs including:
In addition to the highly specialized team of registered nurses, MDH is proud to offer specialized wound care services, including treatment for acute or chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, post surgical incisions, abdominal stomas, fistulas, leg ulcers, and skin issues associated with incontinence.
Darlene Row, RN, BSN, is a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse, or CWOCN. She is available to assist in the care of any wounds and provide up-to-date expertise on the newest wound-care products and care available.
Home Health Aides are available for assistance with personal care needs. Your nurse can help decide if a Home Health Aide is right for you.
Medical Social Workers are on staff to consult with you, your family, or your nurse on community resources, financial assistance, or family support.
