Macomb, IL--McDonough District Hospital will host an AARP Driver Safety Course on Tuesday, July 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This 8-hour program will be held in Health Services Building 1 Auditorium (lower level), located on the MDH campus.

Presented in a classroom setting by Ken Cole of Macomb, the Driver Safety Course consists of instructor guidance, a video, and discussion of driving concerns. There is no driving involved and no tests are given.

Illinois state law requires that all insurance companies give an auto insurance discount to all drivers age 50 and older who complete this accident prevention course. Please contact your auto insurance agent regarding the amount of your discount.

Current and retired educators and school personnel should take advantage of the AARP Driver Safety Education Appreciation Promotion with a cost of just $5.
